What is The Night’s Shadow about?
After the events of Night’s Light, Zach returns home to his job and his sick father. Ari and Ash (Moon Shade) arrange a cover story for Zach which explains his disappearance.
To get assistance and care for his father, Zach has agreed to be a partner for Ash’s cause.
While at his job, he assists his colleague Terry in diagnosing a system issue. After discovering the issue, it inspires Zach with an idea which will exploit it to Moon Shade’s advantage.
In executing Zach’s idea, Ash and Ari use their contact arrange the set up.
When everything has been set, Zach assists Terry in installing the fix. Terry thought Zach was kind in assisting him. Unknown to Terry, he has become an accessory to Zach’s plan.
